Tucson MLS

The MLS, or Multiple Listing Service, collects and distributes information about homes for sale by its real estate broker members. Local Realtor associations maintain it. The brokers in a given area submit their listings to the MLS service, which distributes the information to the rest of the membership.

The system allows brokers to work together to find buyers for the listed properties. MLS membership is only for real estate brokers, although some choose to list certain data on their websites. MLSs are local; there is no nationwide network. That is why it pays to work with a qualified local Realtor when buying or selling a home.
